Robin's his 20 favorite moments from 2012/13 with Man U

Robin van Persie reveals his 20 favourite moments from an epic debut season with Manchester United 2012/2013..

1. OT arrival “I remember I was very excited on this day. I was buzzing about this new challenge. I was living off the adrenaline!”
2. First training session “Training started late while I finished a few medical tests before I could officially train. I couldn’t wait to get out on the pitch, though.”
3. First game (Everton 1 United 0) “I came on with a tough 20 minutes to go at Everton. Even though we lost it was still a great day. I was proud to make my debut.”
4. OT debut (United 3 Fulham 2) “It was a dream start, scoring after 10 minutes of my home debut. What a day. I played 90 minutes but I admit I struggled after an hour!”
5. Hat-trick hero (S'ton 2 United 3) “A crazy game but we never gave up. I apologised in the dressing room for missing the penalty. It was a great win, it felt significant.”
6. Anfield winner (Liverpool 1 United 2) “This time, I made sure of my penalty. It was great to score the winner. I didn’t have my best game but it felt good to beat Liverpool.”
7. Euro double (Cluj 1 United 2) “It was a fantastic Wazza pass for my second at Cluj. The keeper came towards me and I just guided it past him. It spun into the net beautifully.”
8. Take it to the Bridge (Chelsea 2 United 2)  “I love playing against Chelsea and I’ve scored all my goals against them at Stamford Bridge. It’s a great place to play, and win.”
9. Gunner get you (United 2 Arsenal 1) “A weird day. I should’ve scored two. I’d never played against a former team so scoring was strange. But you have a job to do.”
10. Derby day (City 2 United 3) “Wayne and I discussed what to do at the free-kick. Shoot or cross? My shot deflected off the wall past Hart. You can’t get luckier than that!”
11. Hammer blow (West Ham 2 United 2) “A late goal. Giggsy’s pass was unbelievable. I didn’t break stride. I had a good first touch and decent finish to earn a replay.”
12. Earn your Spurs (Spurs 1 United 1) “It was snowing, cold and they nicked a draw. I scored from Cleverley’s great cross, but it’s the result I remember more.”
13. Toffees broken (United 2 Everton 0) “My goal was a bit lucky to make it 2-0. It went in and we were relieved because we’d of what happened in the 4-4 draw the year before.”
14. Real deal (Real Madrid 1 United 1) “One of football’s most iconic stadiums; my first time there. We had chances to win (including me) and we needed to win really.”
15. Hard to take (United 1 Real 2) “A harsh red card for Nani. It was a blow, everything up to that moment was right. Everyone got behind us and the atmosphere was electric.”
16. Stoked to score (Stoke 0 United 2) “The lads gave me stick for my celebration but I wanted to share the moment. Sir Alex has been a joy to work with.”
17. Cheering on Spurs “I cheered for Spurs against City. Can you believe it? An ex-Arsenal player wanted Spurs to win! We knew the title was one game away.”
18. That goal (United 3 Villa 0) “It was instinct. I looked up and thought: ‘This ball is so nice. It’s too beautiful to take a touch’. Everything was exactly as I wanted it to be.”
19. Trophy time “This is for the fans, players and staff. What I really like is it’s made so many people happy. Kids, babies, women, men – they’re all so happy.”
20. Awards night “Winning [Player of the Year] is fantastic. Being involved with the guys has made such an impact on me. They’re a pleasure to work with.

I was like, he is so annoying!': Alicia Keys opens up about her initial dislike for husband Swizz Beatz when they first met... as she poses for ethereal new shoot

They are one of the music world's golden couples, supporting each other through their careers and helping to raise two-year-old son Egypt.
But it seems that things weren't always so rosy between Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz, as the superstar has admitted that she found him 'annoying' when they first met.
Speaking to Marie Claire, the 32-year-old opened up about the couple's long journey to romance, while posing for an ethereal new photo shoot.

'Honestly, I didn't really like him that much,' she said, talking about when she first met the American hip hop artist while they were both teenagers.
'I though he was ostentatious. He'll drive the fastest, brightest car, wear the biggest jewellery, the loudest jacket; everything with him is really over the top,' she admitted.
'I was like, he is so annoying,' she said, reminiscing about when she saw him drive past a restaurant in a huge white Rolls-Royce Phantom.

'I fought tooth and nail,' she said, admitting that she originally didn't want to work with him. 'Finally though, we did it and we had a ball.'
'I think we've taught each other a lot,' she said. 'He's taught me how to live more fully and I've taught him how to live more deeply.'
The singer also admitted that she struggled with the negative attitudes of people close to her during her rise to fame.
'There might have been people in my life who, now, when I look back, I realise were kind of insulting or abusive - verbally or emotionally - or just not supportive,' she said.
Speaking about her beloved two-year-old son, the singer says '[He] never gets grouchy or grumpy. He has a great disposition.'
The Girl On Fire singer poses in a number of show-stopping gowns for the shoot, looking provocative in a sheer grey chiffon piece on the cover.
In another shot she's pictured wearing a floor-length leopard-print dress, cinched in at the waist with a buckled belt, paired with gold stilettos.

Like diamonds in the sky': Chris Brown nuzzles into Rihanna as pop star shares intimate pictures of her 25th birthday bash

By Jade Watkins

They were spotted enjoying a romantic stroll during her 25th birthday celebrations in Hawaii earlier in the day.
And as Rihanna blew out the candles on her cake at a party later in the evening, her on/off boyfriend Chris Brown was once again right by her side.
In intimate snaps the pop star shared on her Instagram account on Wednesday, the rapper is seen nuzzling into the singer's neck as the Loud star wraps her arms around him.

Dressed in a revealing white cut-out dress, Rihanna's huge smile says it all.
She simply captioned the snap: 'Like #diamonds in the sky', the lyrics from her recent hit song.
In another more cheeky snap, captioned '#birthdaybehavior', Brown is seen with his hands around her waist, resting his face on her arm as Rihanna pulls a sultry pose.

The party, which appears to have been held in a private room at the couple's Hawaiian hotel, seems to have got quite rowdy with Rihanna ending up with cake all over her face.
The dessert in question was, of course, decorated with gold marijuana leaves, a nod to her love for the green leaf.
Rihanna posted a snap of the two-tiered creation which was also frosted in Rastafarian colours.

It seems that Brown also splashed out on an extravagant gift for the star, as Rihanna, otherwise known on the social networking site as 'Badgalriri', shared a photograph of her new Goyard designer handbag.
Snapped alongside two traditional Hawaiian Leis, she captioned the image: 'Got the #goyard and getting lei'd at the same damn time.'
Joining Rihanna and Chris at the bash was her younger brother Rorrey, with whom she posed for several pictures with.

Her best pal Melissa Forde and several other friends were also on hand as the group partied at the soiree.
At one point during the evening, Rihanna ran out to the shore of the beach and splashed around in the water surrounded by several of her Rasta-themed balloons.
Rihanna received the birthday gift she probably wanted the most on Wednesday.

She was joined by Brown, 23, for her 25th celebrations and the pair were spotted taking a romantic walk by the water.
But oddly, given the laid back nature of their destination, Rihanna decided to pull a fishnet skirt over her bikini for the tropical stroll.
She looked as though she'd stepped out of a nightclub in the racy ensemble, which was wildly inappropriate for the locale, and Brown couldn't manage to keep his shorts up.

Brown pulled her along the shore before the couple sat together to take in the view and perhaps whisper sweet nothings.
It's just another sign of how seriously the pair seem to be taking their reconciliation.
And another relationship seems to be on the mend as Katy Perry Tweeted an effusive message to her friend after seeming to ignore her at the Grammys.

She wrote: 'HAPPIEST 25TH BIRTHDAY to my baby girl @rihanna! I wish I could b there drinking Mai-Tais & telling haters to eat a d*ck w/u!'
Rihanna just debuted her first clothes range at London Fashion Week.
While Rihanna had spent last weekend working in the British capital, Brown was in Houston where he headlined the NBA All Star weekend.

Also in Houston was his ex-girlfriend Karreuche Tran, who was spotted partying at a different nightclub to the rapper.
While they were not photographed together, Karreuche raised eyebrows when she tweeted a picture of an ornate ceiling on Saturday with the caption 'Gnight'.
The picture was reported to be of the inside of a mansion hired by Brown for himself and a group of friends for the holiday weekend.
Karreuche soon deleted the picture, but not before it had sparked speculation that she was staying with her ex.
Rihanna and Brown only went public with their reconciliation at this month's Grammys.

Milan falls deeper in love with Mario (and so does his girlfriend) after Balotelli hits 'best form' and his FOURTH goal in three games

Mario Balotelli continued his hot streak for new club AC Milan as he scored his fourth goal in three league games on Friday, one more than he managed in the first half of the 2012-13 season for Manchester City.

The volatile Italian forward has made an instant impact on his return to Milan and he scored yet again with a 78th-minute free-kick at the San Siro in a 2-1 win over Parma.
His girlfriend Fanny Robert Neguesha, a Belgian model, was in the stands to see his curling free-kick and she caught the eye as she made heart shapes with her hands… presumably aimed at Balotelli.

'I am playing at a consistent level and nearing my best form,' he told Sky Sport Italia.
'I had already missed two free kicks. But I said to him that if I missed his one, he could have a go.'
Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri said: 'Balotelli scored a great free kick. Balotelli this evening suffered many fouls, but, his reaction was good.'
Since Balotelli left the Etihad in January, not a lot has gone right for Manchester City as draws against QPR and Liverpool as well as defeat at Southampton have all but ended their chances of retaining the Premier League crown they won on a dramatic final day last year.
But the controversial striker has made a flying start to his Milan career, which began with fireworks on the day of his arrival.

No record is safe when Leo Messi is on the pitch. The Argentinian took his all-time official goal tally as a Blaugrana to 301 goals. The 25-year-old only needed 366 matches to reach this mark. His goal-per-game average stands at 0.86. He scored his first on May 1 of 2005 at the Camp Nou against Albacete, his 300th and 301st goals were scored this Saturday against Granada. In addition, he’s netted in 14 consecutive La Liga matches.

48 goals this season

Barça’s number 10 has scored in every competition he’s featured in this season. In La Liga his goal-per-game average stands at 0.86, and in the Champions League it’s 0.75. The Argentinian is improving on the numbers he put up last season. He scored his 100th official goal for Barça on the 17th of January of 2010 (against Sevilla), his 200th, on the 1st of November of 2011 (away to Viktoria Plzen), and his 300th, this evening. This season he’s scored 37 goals in La Liga, and 48 in all competitions.

The tragedy of the babies raised behind bars: Moving portraits of the children of female inmates who grow up in South American jails until the age of four

They've done nothing to earn a prison sentence but the poverty and violence of jail are the first impressions scores of Argentinian children who are born in custody have of life.
A heart-wrenching collection of photographs has captured the South American women raising their children behind bars.

The number of women doing time in Argentina has skyrocketed in the past 20 years, and around a third of all female inmates, who are crammed into small complexes with poor facilities, arrive either pregnant or with young children, whom they are allowed to raise there until the age of four.

The majority of the prisoners are doing time for drug trafficking, robbery or homicide, but their babies are innocent.

However, for many of them, the prison ends up being on their birth certificate, acting as a reminder of the life they were born into which, in most cases, follows them throughout their lives.

Photographer Carolina Camps shot a selection of women and the children they raised in prison for an eye-opening look at this difficult way of life.

She captured Sandra Valdez with her eight-month-old daughter Nicole at the Unidad prison in Los Hornos, near La Plata in 2007, and revisited the family late last year, in the slum on the outskirts of Buenos Aires where they live now.

Valdez has nine children from three different relationships, and now lives with a fourth partner, receiving subsidies to help feed three of her youngest kids.

Valdez was pregnant with Nicole in 2006 when she was sentenced to two years in prison for selling drugs. She raised Nicole in prison until she was two when they left together.

Another mother, Silvia Rodas, was photographed in 2007 with her four-year-old daughter Anahi inside her cell at the same prison. Rodas was convicted of robbery and attempted homicide at the age of 19 and has since done stints in all the prisons in Buenos Aires province after being moved around due to bad conduct. She ended up in Bahia Blanca, the last prison that would accept her.

Her daughter Anahi was three years old when she was convicted and lived in prison with her until she was five, a year longer than is usually allowed.

The forgotten children, as they have been called, are the only 'possession' permitted to these woman, who in many cases depend on the companionship of their little ones to help them forget where they are.

But the sad start to life the children receive is often the way it continues, as the experience of living in the lock up for years is something many of them find hard to shake.
